Savage Kitchen - Cliff House Strawberry Chutney

The Cliff House


STRAWBERRY BALSAMIC CHUTNEY

 


10Lg Fresh Strawberries (stemmed and sliced)
1 Shallot (fine dice)
1/2c Strawberry Liquor
1/2oz Balsamic Vinegar
1tbs Sugar


In a small sauce pan place the shallots and liquor and cook over medium heat being Very careful because the liquor will ignite. Once the flame has gone out add the sugar and vinegar and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Next add the strawberries and cook for another 5-6 minutes or till the berries turn soft.
