1 Croissant (cut in half)
1/4lb Gruyere Cheese (shredded)
2 Slices Smoked Ham
1 Ten inch non-stick sauté pan
1 Six inch sauté pan
Heat both sauté pans on medium heat. Melt the butter in the 10 inch pan, put the cut side of the croissant in the butter to start toasting. Once the croissant starts to brown add the ham. The butter will start to brown and get a nutty smell to it and that's what you want. Turn off the heat. In the other pan add the cheese and let melt being careful not to burn.
Take out the croissant bottom and put on a plate, next put the ham and then pour the cheese on top of the ham and cover with the top.
