Scattered showers and thunderstorms have been bringing much needed rainfall across parts of our area, while other parts of our area have remained dry.
That will be the general theme today and tomorrow, too. Where rain does fall, it could be quite heavy and may mean some flash flooding for some of us. Due to the flash flood threat, staying weather aware is important and be ready to head for higher ground if flash flooding occurs.
Along with the scattered showers and thunderstorms, which will be most numerous along and west of I-25, will come cooler temperatures. We will warm only into the 70's and 80's across Southern Colorado today. Teller County may not even warm out of the 60's this afternoon.
A warmer and dry pattern returns to the picture late this week.
