Even though the Haitian government has ended search and rescue efforts for earthquake victims, the search for survivors at the Hotel Montana continues. Colorado Springs resident and Compassion International worker David Hames is one of those still missing from the hotel.
According to a Hames family spokesperson, search and rescue teams from Fairfax County, Virginia and Los Angeles will continue searching at the hotel site Saturday and Sunday. About 50 percent fo the hotel sight has been walked through while 25 percent has been "technically searched".
Teams are searching for new voids they can access and what can be done to further dismantle the building in a safe manner.
