Second person identified in Timberlane shooting deaths

Colorado Springs police have released the name of the second person who died in the shooting of four people at the Timberlane Apartments.

He has now been positively identified by the Coroner's Office as Andrew Encalade, 23 years of age. Andrew is the brother of surviving shooting victim, Adam Encalade.

As previously reported, 20-year old Marquise Bean died as a result of his gunshot wounds.

The other shooting victims, Jareem Vanterpool and Adam Encalade were both transported to the hospital.

Police continue to actively search for the suspect: 20-year old Alonzo Paige B/M Nickname "BABYWIZ," pronounced Baby Wise (pictured).

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored, older model sedan with two wide stripes down the middle of the hood and the trunk.

 

The two deceased parties are the 2nd and 3rd homicides of the year. This time last year we had two homicides.
