Security precheck expanding to fliers who are U.S. citizens

More fliers will be able to take a security shortcut.

The Transportation Security Administration is expanding it's precheck program to allow more fliers in.

Precheck is an expedited screening program.

Travelers use separate TSA lines and can keep their shoes, jackets, and belts on.

It had been limited to frequent fliers on certain airlines, but later this year U.S. citizens will be able to enroll.

You'll have to provide ID, your fingerprints, and $85.
