Seven year prison sentence in Colorado Springs pimping case

The man who admitted to pimping a child will spend seven years in prison.

Trevor Baker was sentenced Friday to six years for felony child pimping and an addition one year consecutive sentence for violation of bail bonds conditions.

Baker was arrested in May 2012 on multiple counts related to the pimping of a 16 year old girl. He was also accused of setting up a profile page for a teen girl on a prostitution website. Baker agreed to a plea deal in the case, pleading guilty to pimping a child.

Baker told investigators he and the girl agreed to sexual encounters together and would split any money that was made.
