Sheriff's Office makes arrest in Kachina fire Investigation

El Paso County Sheriff's Office have made an arrest in connection with the Kachina Drive fire late Wednesday night.

Clay Alan Cline, whose house burnt down, was arrested last night in connection with the fire. He was charged with First Degree Arson, which is a class 3 felony. 

The fire broke out at 1099 Kachina Drive Wednesday night around 11 p.m. Cline and his two dogs were able to escape without injury.

The house was destroyed.

The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the other fires that have broken out on Kachina Drive in the last couple months.

Cline's bail was set at $10,000.
