Shooting in Pueblo leaves man in ICU, leads to standoff

A 43-year-old man was shot in the chest Saturday night and is in intensive care at a Pueblo hospital, according to Sergeant Eric Gonzales with the Pueblo police department.  The victim was shot around 5:30 p.m. Saturday during an altercation in the 1600 block of Gaylord Avenue and was rushed to the hospital.  The purported shooter then fled into a nearby apartment complex and refused to surrender to police, prompting a standoff involving the SWAT team.
