Clouds will increase throughout the day today, and by late afternoon a few, but not all, of us will be dodging some rain showers and even a few thunderstorms. Temperatures will warm into the 60's in most of Southern Colorado, though 50's will hold on in Teller County and in higher elevations along the Palmer Divide. The showers will linger into the evening, but overnight the rain will clear out even as clouds linger. Tonight will be mild again, and tomorrow will be even warmer than today. An upslope wind flow will mean more rain and high-elevation snow west of I-25, but in Colorado Springs and Pueblo and throughout the Plains we will stay mainly dry.
The warming trend continues this weekend, and by Sunday some locations may reach 80 degrees.
