Sims will face a jury on 1st Degree Murder charge

Reporter Zach Thaxton just got out of the courtroom in Colorado Springs where a judge ruled that Hanif Sims will face a jury on a 1st Degree Murder charge in the death of his daughter Genesis.
Genesis' body was found one year ago this week in the crawl space of the Monument home where she lived with her father and his girlfriend, Monique Lynch. Last week, Lynch agreed to testify against Sims in the case. She took a plea deal.
