Sky Sox lose at Sacramento

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento collected five doubles in a seven-run second inning en route to a 12-4 victory over Colorado Springs on Sunday afternoon at Raley Field. Sacramento first baseman Chris Carter hit a two-run home run in the first inning to give Sacramento the lead, and finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs. River Cats starter Graham Godfrey (10-2) allowed four runs over 7.0 innings, becoming the 11th pitcher in River Cats history to earn 10 or more wins in a season. First-place Sacramento has won 10 its last 12 games and six of seven at Raley Field.
