Mother Nature may be looking to the future after turning the page to spring earlier this week, but taking a look outside it's clear old man winter is still living in the past and isn't about to go without a fight.
Roads became pretty snow covered this morning, especially around Monument.
Cars slowed down and used caution, still several minor accidents were reported.
But the snow is good for one set of people: those who drive snow plows.
"Money," said Eric Chase, a snow plow driver. "It's money from the sky, it's white money, that's what it is."
If you were one of the ones that braved it today, you had to watch out for snow drifts and black ice.
Plus visibility dropped between Colorado Springs and Pueblo for quite some time this morning.
Drivers we spoke to say it can get a bit frustrating, but most of them were more than glad to wake up to white weather.
"I don't mind it," said Jamie Kanutson, a Palmer Lake resident. "It's water. Know we need it, but it's going to be bad out, especially out east when that wind kicks up."
Many places saw an inch or more of snow, and crews were out all morning plowing and dropping salt in hopes of clearing the roadway.
