Snow and unusually cold air

A soggy Spring storm will continue to bring much needed moisture in the form of snow through early tomorrow morning. An inch of snow has already accumulated on grassy surfaces in parts of Colorado Springs with 2-3" in northern Woodland Park. Periods of snow will continue through early tomorrow morning with up to 7" possible in Teller county, up to 6" in northern El Paso county, up to 3" in Colorado Springs, up to 2" in Pueblo and Fremont county. The Wet and Sangre de Cristo mountains will get 6-12" of snow by tomorrow morning. Freezing temperatures will be a problem for tender vegetation and sprinkling systems overnight tonight as low temperatures drop into the teens and 20's.
