It snowed at the top of Pikes Peak early Monday afternoon, along with rain, graupel, and hail.

It's something you don't see too often in the summer time and probably surprised some of the visitors up there today, especially those in shorts and sandals!

"How bizarre! It came down so quick. It was cold up there," exclaims Helen Sapp of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

"We don't have thundersnow in Dallas," remarks Jeff Mains of Dallas, Texas.

Those who tried to drive to the top of Pikes Peak have to stop at Glen Cove because of the weather. Some of them received "rain checks" for the snow.
