Snow returns to Southern Colorado

You could be in for a slick Monday morning commute.
When the snow first started to fall Sunday night, the Gleneagle Fire Department closed a portion of Baptist Road, east of I-25. They said the hill was too steep and the road too slick and they didn't want a bunch of cars trying to make it up the hill, only to get stuck. They called for snow trucks to sand the hilly street. They reopened Baptist Road around 7:45 p.m.
This weather caught some people off guard. Justin Bills was putting gas in his car, wearing shorts, sandals, and no socks or jacket.
"I actually left the house at three and I didn't think it was going to snow today, and as you can see I kind of got caught in the snow. I did not anticipate this," explains Bills.
Wade Carter removes snow from parking lots, and it has been a slow start to the snow-removal season.
"Your schedule is around the weather all the time, so you never really know when you're working. But that's part of business, and I can deal with that," remarks Carter.
