One resort remains open in Ski Country; Arapahoe Basin has been slammed this spring with huge amounts of snow. For the season A-Basin has received 461" of snow, the resort averages 350". Usually this late in the season many rocks and areas of bare ground don most of the ski slopes, not this season. A-Basin currently has a base of 97" mid mountain and still remains 70% open. Leigh Hierholzer says "it's 7 days a week until June 5 then we'll be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays June 10,11, 12 and 17, 18, 19". Hierholzer also says no decision has been made for staying open through July 4th, but there is still a chance.
" We'll reevaluate the conditions after the first week of June to make that call".
