Snowstorm affects much of the state

The snowstorm Sunday affected much of the state including our neighbors to the north.
In Denver, forecasters were calling for the heaviest snowfall of the season.
As much as a foot of snow was expected through this evening.
Many people in the mile high city got a head start shoveling sidewalks and driveways in the afternoon.
Denver's department of city works deployed 70 plows to clear streets and highways.
Flight delays of up to two hours were also reported earlier today at Denver International Airport.
