Weather - Forecast

Soggy weekend for some

More clouds than sun will cover the Front Range today with isolated to scattered afternoon showers. Highs will be right near seasonal for this time of year in the 70s/80s.

A cold front will move through Southern Colorado overnight bringing some light snow accumulations to some of the higher peaks in the region. For the rest of the area, expect mostly cloudy skies Sunday with rain likely (heavy at times) and cooler daytime temps in the 60s/70s.

The potential for flash flooding is high Sunday especially around the area burn scars. The Waldo Canyon burn scar which includes Highway 24 from the Springs to Woodland Park will be one area of concern.

Southern Colorado will finally start to dry out Monday with mostly to partly sunny skies forecast Tuesday through Friday. Temperatures will warm up as well with highs in the 70s/80s across the lower elevations for much of the workweek.
