Some without power after early morning crash

Police responded to a single vehicle accident that has knocked power out to a portion of Colorado Springs early Saturday morning. 

The car hit a pole, causing 4 wires to fall across the road near Powers Blvd. and Omaha Blvd.

Two males were taken to Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both were intoxicated.

Colorado Springs Utilities are reporting more than 1,300 people were without power.

Southbound Powers Blvd. between Palmer Park Blvd. and Galley Road was closed while utility crews worked to repair the down lines.
