Spinney Mountain State Park will be open to shore fishermen and hand-carried boats starting Monday, April 29th.
The park manager says because of the current low water levels, boat ramps are unusable, and only hand-carried boats such as canoes, kayaks and float-tubes can be allowed.
Those who wish to use bigger boats can still visit Eleven-Mile Reservoir which is near full water storage capacity.
All boaters are also reminded to clean and drain boats after every trip to keep invasive plant and animal species from spreading.
