After a dry morning, isolated showers and storms are possible this afternoon for the mountain locations, the I-25 corridor, and the Southeastern Plains. Fire danger remains high across Southern Colorado. Winds will be breezy at times gusting up to 20-25 mph out of the south during the afternoon hours with highs generally in the 90s.
Isolated showers and storms are possible once again Saturday though Sunday looks dry. Highs will drop into the 80s and 90s for the weekend with light winds.
Another shot of rain arrives Monday. As of now, the middle of next looks dry and very warm.
