TODAY: It will be a nice day with some cloud cover and temperatures topping out in the mid 50s to lower 60s...upper 40s in Teller County. Afternoon heating will create a chance for isolated showers mostly over the mountains.
TONIGHT: High clouds move in keeping overnight lows pretty mild. Lows will fall into the upper 20s.
THURSDAY: A little bit more cloud cover and a little bit warmer. Highs will reach into the low 60s in most areas, low 50s in Teller County. Isolated rain/snow showers will be possible mostly in the mountains for the afternoon through the evening. Lows will fall to near 30s degrees.
FRIDAY: This will be the warmest day with highs in the mid to upper 60s in Colorado Springs and Canon City, near 70 in Pueblo, and near 50 in Teller County. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible through the afternoon and evening. The strongest thunderstorms could develop across plains with the possibility of lightning, gusty winds, brief heavy rainfall and hail. Overnight lows will be milder just falling into the mid to low 30s.
THIS WEEKEND: Mostly sunny and mild with highs in the 60s. The weather looks great for any plans you have to visit with family in the outdoors...picnics...Easter Egg Hunts....Sunday services. There will be a chance for isolated showers or thundershowers each afternoon with daytime heating. We will keep you posted if we see anything developing in your area.
MONDAY: Much cooler with highs near 50 in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, near 45 in Canon City and Teller County. A low pressure system has it's eye on our area for Monday and we will be watching this as it has the potential to bring widespread, heavy snow especially to the mountains.
TUESDAY: A flow from the north will keep us cool with highs only reaching into the 40s in most area, 30s for Teller County. It will be mostly cloudy with a chance for snow continuing in Teller County.
