Springs man faces charges for allegedly abusing his mother

Colorado Springs Police say they have arrested 50-year-old Dennis Foust, on Crimes Against At-Risk Adults. Foust is accused of leaving his 87-year-old mother on the floor of her home for at least five days, without offering any assistance.
Police say the woman, who is classified as an at-risk adult, was found by paramedics in sheets that were soaked in urine and covered in feces. Foust was allegedly in the home the entire time, and did not do anything to help his mother. She was taken to Memorial Hospital with serious bodily injuries.
