Springs Police looking for 'armed and dangerous' men after overnight robbery spree

After four armed robberies Friday night into Saturday morning, Colorado Springs police are looking for four suspects. Police say the men are armed and dangerous.

All of the robberies were close together in time and location; the first robbery was at 11:36 p.m. and the fourth was less than an hour later at 12:25 a.m. The first two were at Diamond Shamrock convenience stores on Austin Bluffs Parkway (3290 and 5553, respectively). The third was a Diamond Shamrock store as well, at 5790 N. Carefree Circle; police say one of the suspects fired off several shots at this robbery. Luckily no one was hurt. The fourth incident was a personal robbery at Academy Boulevard and Radiant Circle.

Police say the men were carrying semi-automatic handguns, according to witness reports.

The attached photo shows one of the suspects during the first robbery. Police are looking for four suspects; one black man and three Hispanic men. They were all wearing dark-colored clothing at the time of the robberies.

If you see these men police warn that they are considered armed and dangerous; don't try to detain them, just call police (911 or 444-7000).
