Sprint time for Colorado Senate candidates

It's sprint time for Colorado Senate candidates in primary elections. They're working the phones, waving signs on busy street corners and putting final touches on what they hope will be victory speeches Tuesday night.

Democrats are focusing on Colorado Springs. That's because El Paso is the most populous Colorado county where the primary vote isn't mail-in only.

Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet was headed to Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs Monday. His Democratic challenger, Andrew Romanoff, had a get-out-the-vote rally planned in Colorado Springs.

On the Republican side, Ken Buck was waving signs while Jane Norton was driving from Grand Junction to Denver with campaign stops along the way.
