Standing water helps spread West Nile

All the standing water left from recent flooding in Colorado gives mosquitos the chance to lay eggs. Mosquitos are the main cog in the spread of the West Nile Virus. Three cases have already been comfirmed in the state. The Pueblo City County Department of Health warns people to get rid of standing water near their homes. It is also amart to drain water from clogged drains, toys, tires, and to keep water moving.
