Tuesday's cooler temperatures served as a reminder of the change of seasons on the way and a timely reminder that rebates are still available from the State of Colorado for winterization efforts in your home.
Utility providers across Colorado have partnered with the Governor's Energy Office to provide rebates for installing new furnaces and insulation as well as duct and air sealing. Colorado Springs Utilities and Black Hills Energy are participating in the rebate program in Southern Colorado.
