State Patrol suspects alcohol as cause of motorcycle crash

The Colorado State patrol is continuing its investigation of a motorcycle accident that occurred at around 4:45 P.M. Saturday on Goldfield Dr, just east of the intersection at Fountain Valley School Rd. The rider and passenger of the motorcycle were not wearing helmets when the rider mis-negotiated the turn resulting in the crash. Both were taken to Memorial Hospital with serious and facial injuries.

The State Patrol states that alcohol is suspected as a cause for the accident, and a blood test will confirm their findings.
