After a mild Thursday, the warm up continues into Friday, but not before another cold and clear night with overnight lows in the teens/20s.
Highs Friday will be about 15 to 20 degrees above average for this time of year in the 50s/60s with plenty of sunshine overhead. More sunshine is expected into Saturday with the mild conditions continuing.
A cold front will move through Southern Colorado late Saturday. As it moves south, the wind will briefly pick up. This front will bring a few flurries to the region early Sunday morning and usher in colder air for the start of the new week, but the cold spell will be short lived. Highs will rebound from the 30s Sunday to the 50s/60s by New Year's Eve. As of now, it looks like a cool and dry start to 2014 for us here in Southern Colorado.
