Stephen Bowers comes to News 5 from WTOK in Mississippi where he covered severe weather including snow storms, hurricanes and a historic tornado outbreak in 2011. As a Meteorologist, Stephen is excited to be a part of the most experienced weather team in all of Southern Colorado, First Alert 5.
Stephen is from Florida, where he began his television career at WCTV in Tallahassee. He studied Meteorology and minored in Communication Disorders (focusing on Deaf Culture and American Sign Language) at Florida State University. He has family in Colorado so is thrilled to be the primary weather anchor for News 5 Weekend.
