One family is thanking the power of social media for getting their dog safely back home after it was stolen from their store.
When they realized "Chunk," their six-month-old pitbull had been taken, they immediately turned to Facebook, posting a flyer online that got more than 3,000 shares.
A probation officer noticed a dog that looked like Chunk on a home visit. After confirming it was the dog, he called the owner back that night but the dog had already been sold.
The owners were able to track down the person who bought the dog -- they cooperated and handed Chunk back over.
"Chunk is always, always happy and always makes me smile," says Kelly Lang, Chunk's owner. "He's the best dog I've ever had."
