Store employee threatened with a handgun; two suspects still missing

An employee at Colorado Ski and Golf in Colorado Springs was confronted by a man with a gun in the store parking lot.

Police were first called Saturday evening around 6 p.m. because of a suspicious man and woman loitering inside and outside of the business at 2454 Montebelllo Square. The female was in a black Chevy Malibu driving around in the parking lot. When the man walked out of the store he triggered the alarm; when a store employee confronted the man in the parking lot, the man lifted his shirt to show a handgun tucked into his waistband. The man told the employee to, "back off," according to a police report.

The man is described as white, between 30 and 35 years old, with short hair. The woman is white, 5'07", with piercings between her eyes and on her lip, according to police.
