Storm cleanup underway in Kansas City

Thousands of Kansas City residents started their day without power, after a powerful storm slammed the southside of the city Sunday.

Homes were damaged by falling trees or limbs, which also blocked roads.

The same area was hit by a devastating tornado in 1957, that killed 37 people.
