Snow and wind are still causing driving problems in southeastern Colorado with several roads closed due to accidents and poor visibility.
CDOT has the following eastern Colorado highway closures:
WB I-70 from the Kansas border to Airpark Road
EB I-70 from Airpark Road to Limon
US 24 between Colorado Springs and Limon
US 287 between Eads and Limon
State Highway 94 between Colorado Springs and Punkin Center

The areas still experiencing winter driving conditions with some remaining snowpack and icy spots are the mountainous areas, including west of Walsenburg over La Veta Pass (US 160), where the chain law remains in effect for large trucks, US 24 west of Colorado Springs, US 50 west of Canon City, and State Highways 96/69 in the Wet Mountain Valley (Westcliffe area).
