Ten families that were stranded by flood waters jave finally been able to leave their neighborhood.
Flooding from Rock Creek washed out the road to their homes last Friday off of Highway 115.
Neighbors in the area say they live in a tight knit community and everyone was able to stay in contact throughout the flooding.
A couple we spoke with says this is the third flood they've seen since 19-86 and every time, things seem to get worse.
"Everybody was safe and nobody got hurt but it's been nail biting and a little on edge," said Christy Cousineau, a homeowner in the area.
Cousineau says the community has a lot of cleaning up to do but they will get it done together.
