Weather for this Friday is very much a function of location. Along the I-25 Corridor and the Southern Front Range, clouds could break this morning to allow some sun to shine through. Those clouds will thick up this afternoon, though, and more heavy rain will fall in spots. It will start in the mountains close to lunch time and move out to I-25 after 2 PM. That doesn't necessarily mean everyone along I-25 will rain, but it does mean rain will be around.
In the Southeastern Plains, an east-to-west wind is an upslope breeze that will keep clouds in place throughout the day. There will be spotty showers, but once again not every area will see rain.
In all areas, cloud cover will hold temperatures down, and most of Southeastern Colorado will top out in the 70's this afternoon. Around Colorado Springs and also in the Wet Mountains, expect low-to-mid 70's. Mid-to-upper 70's are likely from Cañon City and Pueblo south and east into the Plains. Teller County and the Wet Mountain Valley will warm into the 60's in most locations.
