Temperatures Thursday were a bit cooler than they've been, but I didn't hear any complaints. Highs were in the 70s for most locations. Overnight, this means an even cooler one. So you can expect some refreshing conditions. Maybe you'll want to open up the windows and enjoy some of Mother Nature's natural air conditioning? By morning temperatures will be in the 40s and low 50s.
Clouds will stay away for at least the next 24 hours. We won't see clouds till the weekend, and even then it's not going to be cloudy, rather partly sunny. Quiet weather will persist for the next couple of days, but as an area of high pressure builds through the Rockies and the Plains, our winds shift, bringing not only up-sloping winds, but more moisture our way. So starting Sunday, showers will return to the forecast. But most of this won't occur till Monday and Tuesday with afternoon pop-up showers pretty prominent through the beginning of the work week. With some showers and more clouds, temperatures will drop off a bit for next week.
