Suspect arrested in overnight shots fired incident

Colorado Springs, Co - On Thursday, April 25 at approximately 11:38pm, Colorado Springs police officers were dispatched to investigate a report of shots fired in the area of 900 Yuma St. Officers located a defect consistent with a bullet strike in an occupied commercial building in that block. Several victims were identified as having been present outside that building when the shots were fired from a black Jeep Grand Cherokee. No one was struck or injured. The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Dwayne Linebaugh. On Friday morning, shortly before 2am, Linebaugh was arrested in the area of N. Nevada Ave. and Mount View Lane without incident.
