A Pueblo man who's accused of distributing child pornography was fired from his job at Target on Friday. Target says Scott Lewandowski, 38, was terminated "for failing to show up to work." Lewandowski has been held at a detention facility in downtown Denver, since he was arrested on July 14.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Lewandowski was among 72 people charged for their alleged involvement in an international child pornography network. Federal prosecutors say the suspects used a website called Dreamboard which required users to upload violent sexual images of children 12 and younger. Lewandowski lives on Pinecrest Dr. on Pueblo's south side, according to county records.

Lewandowski was part of the security team at Target according to Sarah VanNevel, a spokesperson for the company. "Target will partner with law enforcement as necessary during their investigation," said VanNevel. "Unfortunately, because this is an ongoing investigation, we are unable to share additional specifics at this time," she added.

The justice department says Lewandowski will eventually be transferred to Louisiana, to face federal charges.
