FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - TCU is moving to a new conference and could put itself directly in the BCS title hunt. The school will join the Big East after the 2011-12 academic year.

TCU now will have automatic access to the Bowl Championship Series and its five big-money games. The Big East currently has eight football teams and one of six automatic BCS slots.

The Horned Frogs wrapped up their second consecutive undefeated regular season and Mountain West title on Saturday and moved up to No. 3 in the BCS standings. But TCU will likely be blocked out of title game consideration unless Auburn or Oregon lose next weekend.
