RED FLAG WARNING goes until 8 PM this evening for SE Colorado.
PUEBLO COUNTY-HUERFANO COUNTY-LAS ANIMAS COUNTY, you are reissued a Red Flag Warning for Thursday afternoon as well.
Overnight a storm moves through the Rocky Mountains. This will bring more clouds, and the chance for some showers - mainly for higher elevations. The high country in the western part of the state is even looking at Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories overnight.
We will see some lingering clouds for Thursday as temperatures will drop off slightly. It won't be a cold day, but cooler compared to the really warm temperatures from Wednesday. Both Thursday and Friday we'll stay near seasonal averages with highs in the 50s and 60s.
The weekend looks absolutely beautiful! Both Saturday and Sunday we'll see mostly sunny skies and temperatuers once again climbing. Most areas will get well into the 60s and 70s for highs each day.
Temperatures will drop off slightly for the work week, but not a huge cool down. Again, we'll be looking at seasonal averages and sunshine.
So really, besides a few spotty showers overnight in the higher elevations, we're not looking at much in the way of any moisture for the next 7 days.
Have a good evening... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
