There will be green in the streets

Downtown Colorado Springs is going to be bleeding green on Saturday, March 12th.

There will be floats, leprechauns, and much more at the 28th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

A 5K run kicks off the festivities at 10 a.m. That is followed by the kids "Leprechaun Fun Run" at 11 a.m. and the parade starts at noon.

The parade route runs down Tejon St. starting from St. Vrain and goes to Vermijo.

If you would like to run in the race, you can register on-site starting at 8:30 a.m. at Acacia Park in front of the Uncle Wilber Fountain.

Funds raised from the "Leprechaun Fun Run" will go to help maintain the Uncle Wilber Fountain in Acacia Park.

Public garages will be available for parking for the event for $3 dollars.
