Thousands took advantage of good deals and free hot dogs at the grand opening of Goodwill in Pueblo.
The new store is on Dillon, close to the mall, and will employ more than 40 people.
Several say they love the new location and how spacious it is.
With the economy not so great, those with Goodwill say thrift stores are doing well.
"Our Goodwill applies over ninety cents of every earned and contributed dollar to mission, and people really understand that, and secondly, we have great merchandise," said Karla Grazier, CEO of Discover Goodwill of Southern and Western Colorado.
The store opened for donations last month, but Saturday was the first official day to shop.
