Thousands of needy given toys, food

Christmas will be a lot better for about 8,000 Colorado Springs families thanks to "The Best Christmas Ever."

Families were chosen through local non-profit agencies that help the poor.  They were given a full turkey dinner, new toys, even bicycles and a chance for play time at Mr. Biggs.  All the toys and food came from donations.

"One hundred percent of this event is Colorado Springs collaborating to transform the town," said organizer Steve Bigari.  "Everything is volunteers, everything is donations."

One lucky family will also get a car.
