Thousands receive a letter about a possible information breach at CSU-Pueblo

Over 19,000 students and applicants at CSU-Pueblo receive a letter about a possible breach of information.

Those with the school say everyone affected should have gotten the letter.

They add none of the information was changed or stolen.

However, they are taking it seriously, even though they believe the threat is minimal.

A few students accidentally gained access to some files containing personal information, but they told school authorities immediately and the problem was fixed.

If you received a letter and believe someone has used your information, they say you should call police and call one of the three credit agencies listed in your letter.
