DENVER (AP) - Three more people have been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in Denver, including a woman who was minutes away from flying to Mexico.

Denver police said Thursday that 32-year-old Norma Paola Vera-Nolasco was arrested Wednesday night at the Phoenix airport after her plane was called back to the gate. Police haven't said what her connection is to the crash that killed a 21-year-old parking valet, Jose Medina.

Three other people have also been arrested, including two accused of being accessories after the fact. Police say they haven't determined who was driving the car that hit Medina.

They made arrests after a taxi driver reported the license plate of the car believed to have been involved in the crash.
