LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - A former girls' basketball coach at a suburban Denver high school is suspected of having a sexual relationship with a second student.
Lakewood police said Friday they were investigating the latest allegations against Wesley Adam Specht.
The semi-professional basketball player was arrested Wednesday on allegations that he had an inappropriate relationship with another female student at Alameda High School.
Three school district employees have been placed on paid leave as officials investigate whether they knew about the alleged misconduct.
Denver's KUSA-TV reported that, according to court documents, the principal of Alameda High School in Lakewood found out the allegations from a school secretary. The secretary said she couldn't believe that Specht still had his job because she said the student had been open about them having a relationship.
