Our Thursday started snowy, but by 10 AM the snow had mostly ended for our area. The potential exists for a stray flurry in the cloudy areas, but the main issue now becomes the intense cold. We will struggle to reach 20 this afternoon, and many areas may not quite make it to 20. Evening temperatures will drop quickly into the teens. Many areas will drop into the single digits by 5 AM Friday.
Expect warming to begin as early as Friday afternoon. The weekend will be warm, but another taste of winter is on the way for the start of next week.
