Tornado touches down in northeast Colorado

A tornado touched down for at least ten minutes Monday evening in northeastern Colorado.

The National Weather Service in Boulder says the tornado occurred just before 8 PM Monday in Washington County, producing damage about 13 miles southwest of Akron. Some reports suggest power is out in areas of Akron following the tornado. So far, no injuries have been reported.
